However, it has now been claimed he was secretly cremated – with reports stating his kids had his remains encased in jewellery shaped like broken hearts. ‘The ashes are now in necklaces like the one that Paris wore to Michael’s memorial service and wrapped around his wrist as he lay in his open coffin,’ a source claimed. ‘She and her brothers rarely wear the necklaces in public.

In the two-part film, they alleged the singer molested them as children on tour and at his home on the Neverland ranch – allegations the Michael Jackson estate has denied. Discussing the show, an official statement from his estate read: ‘Leaving Neverland isn’t a documentary, it is the kind of tabloid character assassination Michael Jackson endured in life, and now in death. ‘The film takes uncorroborated allegations that supposedly happened 20 years ago and treats them as fact.
